As a kid, what job did you dream you'd have as an adult? What job do you have now?
My dream job was to be a radio DJ. The motivation stemmed from my love of music. The idea of having a massive index of music is what attracted me to working in radio. However, being a introvert, it did not thrill me to be a public speaker, although the anonymity of radio broadcasting had its perks.
Today, I am a big fan of talk radio and the plight of those who claim to fame comes from a long history radio broadcasting. I suppose radio still resides in my heart. Recently, I learned of, and fell in love with "This American life" a show that is broadcasted by Ira Glass. I became a huge fan instantly, when hearing the first show about a bus driver who said, "the hell with this... I'm taking the bus on a road trip" There is something special about radio that I hope never dies.
As for the type of work I do, I work with electronics. Not my Dream job, but its a decent job with decent people, therefore I am thankful for a job! The futurist are warning of a future of scarce jobs. I can not imagine what people will do to make a living and be productive. The world is changing and its kind of scary!

Today as I ventured out on my daily walk, I experienced very motherly experience. A young mother and her two, energy filled sons riding bikes in single file fomation. When tge famiky of bike wadlers got to the intersection they waited patiently but with determination to cross. When the time came to cross, the family did so with precision.
A visual effect formed in my mind of a "Momma Duck leading the way in a proud and protective fashion, while the babies waddled in trust across a busy street..
Today in the calisthenics am, I sit and think about doing laundry and opportunity to hang with nature. Stroud water has become one I my fave places to chill.

As I was walking around the hood the other day a memory came flooding back to me. There was this guy I use to know. He was a lost soul. For some odd reason I had a strange attraction to him as he did me. We fooled around a few times, but this guy had a grudge against the world. I tried to be friends with him and warm his heart alittle but he shut me out, so I forgot about him. I moved on. I started seeing someone else and all was happy in my life.
A year or so went by, I never seen or thought about this guy. Then out of the blue on a very late rainy night. A knock at the door, I was shocked, nobody ever comes to my house at that hour. I yelled "who the hell is it?" the person did not state who it was, but said "I needed to talk you. I leaving town and I want to say goodbye. Just open the door please" I finally realised who it was and opened the door. This man stood there pityful and soaking wet. (I will never forget how hard it was raining that night) I said "I have a boyfriend now, its a little late for goodbyes" then I slammed the door in his face. He knocked a few more times pleading with me to hear him out to no avail. After and ten more minutes of soaking rain he left. I did not budge!
I really don't feel guilty about slamming the door in his face. When I reached out to this person they rejected me. Even if his guilty consciences was at work, I hope he learned a lesson in life. You can shit on people and reject everyone in life who try show you compassion. Rejection of humanity comes with consequences.

I was doing some reading on other people's blogs. The "Questions of Life" came to light in many of the postings. People generally want the same things in life: To be love, to be respected, to be accepted, to be trusted, not judged harshly and to be recognized for work well done, etc.
Some people take it even further by wanting to become famous, wealthy or nortorious. Some people want to build their own business and be successful. Some people dont want to do a damn thing but sit on their ass all day.
I am not one of those people to sit on my ass all day. I barely fit any of the aboved mentioned categories either.
Although, I do want to love and be loved and have a general acceptablity of others. I do not care to lead the pack. I dont want to be famous or have my name and face plastered all over the world. I just want to live a simple happy life, with simple things and income simple enough to sustain myself. I want to dance and keep at my belly dance classes till I have mastered the art. I don't want to be a famous, professional belly dancer. I just want to dance, have fun, do it well and share my love of dance with the community. I dont want to be judged by my skills as a dancer, I want to be recongnized for my love of the dance!!
